When I get home each evening, I am usually met with a floor full of flyers.? I take a quick look and if nothing is of interest then they go in the bin.

This evening however, there was one with an URGENT SAFETY?WARNING message on it.? When I saw the brand names Beko, Flavel, Leisure and New World underneath it, my attention was grabbed.? So if you have a gas cooker manufacturered by one of these brands, read on.

The message reads as follows:

“Despite previous safety campaigns in conjunction with the NCA, NSAI, ILPGA and RGI, we are still trying to trace the remaining owners that have not contacted us regarding their Beko, Flavel, Leisure and New World gas cookers.? These particular cookers if not operated in accordance with the user instructions produce Dangerous Levels of Carbon Monoxide Which Can Cause Injury or Death.”
