Hi Sinead, You could do the handpainting yourself but just follow the guides I have posted previously. Watch the video on painting kitchen cabinets at Painting Kitchen Cabinets If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself then I suggest contacting a local kitchen company and asking them for contact details of the handpainter they use. Unless you are confident you can do a really good job yourself, then get a professional to do it. It's important it's done right as you have to live with it for years to come. I don’t know any handpainters in Monaghan, but what I recommend when I don’t is that you contact a local kitchen company and ask them if they can give you the name of the handpainter they use for their handpainted kitchens.

If you follow through with handpainting your kitchen, maybe you could send us on some before and after photos so that we can put them up on the website for the rest of our visitors to see.
